Triptych

This Triptych has been created using Stampington Arched Glass Stamp onto heavy paper and then mounted onto chipboard. I have done both sides of the triptych trying to create an architectural church window kind of effect. I am not sure if I have succeeded or not, but i like it. The background windows have been coloured in with watercolours. The images are a little risqué but they run in a series and I considered this to be important.
Strange really having a naked woman in church. At the bottom of the arches I have stamped with Stampington & Company Wrought Scroll with one layer of Brilliance Moonlight White then embossed and another layer on top of that with Pearlex Two Tone Colour Gold/Red and embossed. The bottom of the picture has a border edging that is self adhesive and has been stamped with Pearlex Stamp Pad Two Tone Colour Gold/Red. I have then embossed parts on it with Tapestry Embossing Powder and then went around the entire edge of the triptych with black ink and the Rust Tapestry Embossing Powder.
I have mounted parts of Kaiser Wood Flourishes that have been inked in black then embossed only in parts with the Rust Tapestry Embossing Powder again. I have joined the three triptych's together using brass hinges from my favourite store Bunnings. Now the hard part is to put it in the post to be given away to someone, this is not my choice of who it goes to that is Barb’s. I just hope that who ever gets it loves it the way I do……… I have become quite attached to it as the idea has been in my head for quite sometime and it’s now finished.
Now onto my next task of finishing off my altered book that I am partaking in……

Bye for now……………

thanks Glenda you never know what or who will get it. Isn't it nice to see the finished product when you only saw the bits and the verbal idea that I explained.
