Peeled Paper Technique

Used some scrapbooking papers for this peeled paper technique, as I was trying to keep the finished paper within a certain colour range. I used 7Gypsies Fleur Noir, Daisy D’s with a crackle stripe and black stripe, Music Sheets and some other paper that I had laying around. Tore everything up and started putting them into strips overlapping each other, then on top of that squares, strips, triangles and all sorts or torn bits here and there in a scrambled method. I applied masking tape on here and there burnishing it to make sure their was reasonable contact, then tore it off. This revealed torn bits from underneath and on top. Once this was done I inked the torn bits with Walnut Inks by Fibre Scraps in Verdigris, Tea Stain and Rust. I stamped a Stampington & Company stamp called Wrought Scroll. Embossed with Rustique Tin Can powder by JudiKins put the Paper Whimsy Image on. Used hemming tape, heat it to get it to shrink to the desired effect, brushed it with a gold stamp pad, embossed with clear embossing powder. The last application was the round embellishment that was cut from scrapbooking paper Chatterbox Rodeo Paisley, then mounted it with foam tape and topped off with Papier Dimensional Glaze Antique. One little ATC with a lot of work done on it.
